Food ministry

         Thank you for remembering our church's food bank.  Any items you can donate would be a blessing. Pasta, sauce, cereal, tuna fish, peanut butter, soups, rices, canned fruits and veggies as well as gift cards of any amount for dairy products are very much appreciated.

Ecumenical Food Bank

Opportunities to serve in July - opportunities are available for anyone interested in lending a helping hand to the local ecumenical food bank. Help is needed two Tuesdays, July 23rd and August 24th from 9:24 am to 1:00 pm, and on two Fridays, July 26th and August 2nd, 1:45 to 4:00 pm. Please contact Sue Howard or Pastor Bob for more details.
 

Services on the Naugatuck Green

Sunday, June 23, 10:00 am. Join us in the beautiful outdoors for a casual service with a message from Pastor Bob, followed by a time for fellowship. All are welcome - see you there! Prayer will still take place at the YMCA  from 9:15 to 9:45 am.
Note: in the event of rain, service will be held at the YMCA on church street.

Doing life together as a church was vitally important to the early church, and is just as important today. Small groups meet monthly. June's reading for discussion will be John chapter 6.  Contact Pastor Bob if you would like to get involved.

Men's Events

Men's Breakfast - the second Saturday of the month 8:00 am.  Meeting at the American Legion Hall, Cedar Street.  

Men's Bible Study: "Growing Deep in the Christian Life" by Chuck Swindoll. Wednesday nights, 6:30 to 7:45 pm, meeting at the YMCA.
 

Women's Events

Women's monthly fellowship.  Saturday, June 29th at 12:30 pm.  Toni Raczkowski will be hosting and will provide lunch, pool side! Come enjoy a swim and great fellowship! Contact Toni is you will be attending.  And don't forget to check the church bulletin for upcoming dates, including outreach & fellowship opportunites planned for 2013.

Bible Study Fellowship - Monday night meetings, September through May, in Southbury, 7:00 to 8:45 pm.  Bible study program for 1st through 12th graders, as well. If interested, please see MaryAnn Hebert or Nancy Goyette.
 

Young Adults

Are you 18 to 30 something and have an activity you would like to see planned? Contact Pastor Bob. And be sure to check back for future events.  

 

Kids' & Youth Events

Vacation Bible School 2013 - July 29th through August 2nd. Mark you calendars! This year's theme is "Kingdom Rocks!". Kids 5-10 experience a fun filled week learning about Jesus' love for them. Opportunities to serve as part of the team are available. See Deb Kosma for more information or to sign up for this fun outreach to the kids of Naugatuck and surrounding areas. 

Sunday School: 10:00 to 11:00 am, during service for 5 to 12 year olds. 

Volunteers to sit in on a Sunday appreciated.  See Deb Kosma.

"Girls Investigating God" (GIG) - girls 10 to 18; we just wrapped up for the spring.  Thank you Kim McCarthy for leading the girls in this study! Check back for future activities.

Bible Study on Monday nights 7:00 - 8:45 pm for 1st through 12th grade.  See Bible Study Fellowship under Women's Events.
