Women’s Monthly Fellowship Gathering

Women from the church take turns in hosting a time of fellowship at their home.  Over coffee or a light meal, a topic is usually chosen for discussion that pertains to women, faith and real life issues; in the process, Christ centered friendships are formed, and outreach to the community encouraged.

Men’s Monthly Breakfast

All men are invited to a hot breakfast, fellowship, and to hear Pastor Bob share on a topic for encouragment relating to men and men's real life issues. Meeting the 2nd Saturday of each month at the American Legion Hall on Cedar Street.

Care Ministry

As part of our outreach to the community, Christ the King Church offers comfort and encouragement to those who are experiencing hardships of many kinds. Whether it is the loss of a loved one, a surgery, illness, or a spiritual need, we stand ready to respond with a meal, flowers, cards, prayer and often with a lovingly assembled prayer shawl.  For more information, please contact Mary Butkus at 203 723 2505 or Sue Howard at 203 910 7476.

Higher Ground Ministry

A Bible-based support group for anyone battling an addiction or who knows someone who is. Meeting on Thursday nights, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. at the American Legion Hall (use side entrance).  A ministry of Christ the King Church since April 1, 2010.

He turned to me and heard my cry. 
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;

Set-Up Team

So many thanks go to our Set-Up team, that arranges our place of worship at the YMCA each and every Sunday. They set up the chairs, flowers, banners and so much more. They also organize the Fellowship Room and break everything down at the end of each service.
